ORANGE in the garden- blast from the past

OKAY, it's true not all OF these were photographed in my garden as ONE square in this mosaic is a wildflower. Can you guess which ONE?

Moving clockwise starting with the largest square: Great spangled fritillary on a purple coneflower, butterflyweed, orange hawkweed, mountain ash berries, trumpet vine and daylily

I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE

Im guessing something called a weed might be the wild one? So nice to see these when we are drowning in snow in my neck of the woods.

Love the butterfly and the cone flower. Perfectly composed!

I'll guess the hawkweed was not from your garden. They are all beautiful and very refreshing compared to the blanket of white outside my window.

A beautiful orange mosaic. A weed in one place can be a domestic plant in another, just like some of our obnoxious weeds getting a high price in some US cities. I think maybe the berries are wild, haha!

Hawkweed?

Your garden must be amazing with this progression of oranges adding warmth and glow throughout the growing season.

This was an outstanding link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "O".

I enjoyed this splash of happy color today.

Thank you for linking.

A+

You have me stumped! I really should know this, and will probably feel silly when you reveal the "weed."

Yes, I just died a little bit looking back at those warm days.

Mountain ash berries. Doubt these are in your garden. Up in a tree on your property?
