Snow Lined/ Weekend Reflections

Pefferlaw Creek, January 5

New snow. The old snow melted over the Christmas holidays, washed away by rain.

I love the white and the look of movement on the water.

I'm trying to put myself in perspective to the camera eye. Please don't tell me you were standing in the water to get this photo!!

Kathy,
Good news! I was standing on a bridge. :))

This scene looks so much like the winter here. Our creek isn't quite frozen yet either. So cool for a reflection.
Have a great week-end EG.

Isn't winter sometimes so beautiful? I felt that way as I walked out early this morning in our new snow.
Thanks for a great homage to winter and water!

This is a great time of year for wintry water reflections, plus snow. I love the winding stream in this shot.

Wow, what a beautiful scene. Great reflection.
I think I'll hold off on jumping in the water, however.

We had snow yesterday and again today, so it's not (not a lot, only a couple of inches).

I love scenes like this with snow on the evergreens!

So many wonderful outdoor winter scenes make me want to get out there and explore. Not today, though. Edmonton has a heavy snowfall warning and it's been snowing since yesterday. Some rooftops look as if they have three feet of snow on top. (Not from this weekend, mind you. It's accumulative). Hope you're warm. Have a wonderful weekend.
