So much to contemplate in this photo: the beautiful reflection; the mist or fog in the background; a breaking sunset or a fading sunrise; just a wonderful hint of color, Very nice!
What a fascinating reflection! Love the receding branches, the difference in color! Another terrific, creative capture! You have a great eye and you are SO good!! Hope you have a great weekend!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

A beautiful, reflective photo for "weekend reflections!" I don't see ANY snow in your photo....
Great shot with that 'broken' reflection.
Overhere spring is coming too, but untill now it's still mostly grey and cold.
Enjoy your weekend!
Wonderful composition. Just love it!
Leif,
The only snow we have today is what used to be snowbanks. :)) Of course, we can always get more snow yet, but it will melt away fairly quickly!
I love the effect of the half reflection caused by water and ice.
Very romantic post, the tree reflection is adorable!
Congrats!

Amazing beauty.I could sit and look at that one for a long time. Thanks for the beauty.
Great shot!
It is! It is!! Yippee!! Spring is just around a corner--somewhere.
Lovely shot and reflection. MB
Good to see the ice melt away ;)
I like the difference between places where there's ice and places where there's not!Winter is slowly saying good bye!
I love this shot--and I can see spring coming in this picture. I like the rusts and reds in the foliage along the banks.
Beautiful! I love the red branches along the shore.
Oh fantastic. You caught the receding ice just along the line of the branches. Fantastic colours too!
Wow, that one belongs in a frame. Evocative and moody, and great composition.
lovely colour in that photo.
Absolutely beautiful!
the ice gets thinner as the tree gets thicker
don't you just love it :)

the ice just doesn't do as good a job of reflecting, does it?!
Og this is a good one. Beautiful.
Very nice! I'm betting it's a nice spot when all is green!
Such a very wonderful photo! I love that tree! :) and the lovely reflections! :)
I bet you are about as happy to see that ice recede as I was!
Very pretty reflection. Still looks "cold" there. I guess the keyword is "receding" not "gone". Soon, very soon we can use the word "gone".
Great photo composition and reflection; just wonderful.
Wow gorgeous scene and reflections!
Enjoy your weekend.
Yeah! Sprng is getting closer!
that is a photo to sit back and admire, just lovely,
Gill
The last beautiful gasp of winter.
Like the hairline of someone I know. Love the reflections. Hope the ice is all gone soon and you can enjoy the warmth and light of spring.
Re your comment on Ocala DP: Dogs do not growl at me! Dog's lick my hand and want to sniff.
Women growl when I come close. I just don't understand! It's very discouraging. Maybe I should get a haircut?
Love the change in textures in the reflections from water to ice..very nicely captured!!!
An awesome reflection EG. Our creek is very high now with all the snow melt, and not so pretty either.
B.
very nice reflection and love the hint of red by the tree.
Your picture gives me a sensation of cold, of winter, I don't know why... This quite an atmosphere, indeed...
Great photo! Our creeks and streams are pretty swollen around here with the snow and ice melting...Finally :)
