Fishers/ SOOC

Fishers at the Port of Goderich, Ontario, on Lake Huron

These guys have definitely "gone fishing."

If you're wondering what's going on on the the other side of the water, come back Monday. If you're not wondering...please come back anyway.
To see more photos straight out of the camera, visit Jan's  SOOC at Murietta365.

I think fishermen are the same the world over, nothing matters but the catch.

At least they have some bright sunshine in which to do their fishing.

Oh, what I love most is the pull to come back Monday... you are often telling stories with your photos.

EG,I'm curious! Just they are enjoying fishing. On the other side there is a huge factory surrounded by metal fences.
Yes, I'll wait and come back Monday! "gone fishing" is some hint?? Have a nice day!

Not the most scenic location to spend the day fishing!

I sometimes think that the process of fishing is more important to fishermen than the goal of catching fish. They seem quite companionable.

Nice photo, although I'd be nervous about eating something caught right there! It definitely looks cold.

A fisherman will fish anywhere. what is the catch of the day? MB

Great slice-of-life shot...can a person safely eat fish caught in this water?

It looks like some kind of sporting arena is being built across the way...maybe?

Hardcore out in this weather. I shake my head when I see fishermen out on the ice or even on the shore like this in the cold. And I will be back to see what's on the other side. Interesting to get a look at another of the Great Lakes.

That must be a good spot. It looks like they plan on staying for a while. I like how they have commandeered the little concrete pad for their own use.
