That colour tugs at your heart strings. So typical and uplifting. Yours don't seem to have an orange blob in the center, like ours over here. BTW, I like what you've done with the place :-)
I have many yellow violets in my flower beds, but the purple ones seem to prefer the wilder areas in the woods--so far, anyway! I like violets, and would prefer them to some of the other weeds that take over anyplace I neglect for very long!
Oh, what a wonderful macro you captured in pictures! Soon it will be a long vacation in Sweden for me and Swedish flowers on Monday macro! Have a nice day!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Nice macro of the violet. I love them, but I do have problems with them invading the garden.
Lovely, purple violets! And yes, umm, I had my left hand on the sterring wheel and my right hand on my NIKON....
what a stunning macro!! I have many of these in my yard - so small and pretty!!
A terrific macro! These little flowers are all over my "lawn".
Beautiful image with beautiful color!

Beautiful shot, it shows the flower so well!
Unfortunately, I think these plants go where they want to go, and they don't ask permission first! Nice shot.
That is such an amazing shade. They are hardy indeed and seem to pop out of nowhere.
Thats such a pretty little flower...great shot!
What a lovely color this is!.
A great macro shot.
Gorgeous colour!
I didn't realize they could be invasive. We have a tiny yellow one around here but it doesn't seem to invade the garden.

Gorgeous, vivid color and wonderful shallow DoF!
This exactly the colour blue/ purple I like to have in my garden! Have a great week!
What a great blast of color.
Nice shot. I like the little Violet. I have them here and there but they have not become invasive. MB
Nature has some beautiful colours
I do believe this is the exact variety of woodland violet that we have growing in our woods in early spring.
Great macro shot!
Violets are one of my favorite flowers! Gorgeous close-up shot :D
So gorgeous and velvetty. Absolutely lovely picture!
Such a deep dark color. Wonderful macro shot.
I love the rich colors. Nicely composed too. Thanks for the visit and the vote of confidence.
I have to remember the name of this flower. This flower is dainty and I like how purple the color is. Happy Monday!
Macro Monday
Awesome color on these wild beauties. I have a section of lawn that is nothing but violets. When the grass turns purple, I know it's spring.
So delicate and pretty. I have a big "patch" of them--never planted a one, but somehow they got started and have spread all over. Mickie :)
This is a wonderful shot of the violet...probably the best I have ever seen.
