LOVE IT! so glad he helped him up because i was getting really nervous about the dog falling through the ice that looks like it is breaking up further out. i love the shot of him pulling the dog up. in St Pete we lived on a street that the other end from us was waterfront, a man had a black lab, the lab would jump off the dock and swim the the sea wall and climb the ladder they built for him.

Yikes … that could have been a disaster! Happy to see the dog was rescued but shows how in a split second you can go from solid ice to sinking down. Suddenly I have this urge for a warm blanket and cozy fire. :)

Me again! I made the switch because I'm frustrated with Blogger, esp. since Google took over. I dislike Google and now they're forcing their new formats on us.
Also, I wanted a larger and easier venue to do more things than must post blog photos. This gives that to me. I can easily do galleries and slideshows, videos, etc.
There are so many more options with a regular website.

So glad this dog and owner resolved the situation as all too often you hear of owners perishing while trying to rescue dog. So sad for all concerned.

Oh this post is so cute, how so loving the man is! The true love between them shows very well in your photos. On the other hand, you are still in the midst of winter, while we here just started our dry season and the temperature already soared to 34.5C the other day. That is so much higher than the last year at this period, i am scared when we reached the peak in April. OMG, what's happening to our world!

We have -17 this a.m. and expecting 13+ C. Wed.? Th? My late ex-father-in-law lost a dog on the river like this. So sad.
