Still Icy/ Watery Wednesday

 Icicles made by splashing water

Sunday it was windy and the water in Lake Ontario was rough - many big waves.

 Waves moving in

Sun on icicles

I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

That's fabulous - love the idea of the splashing water creating ice on the branches. Awesome captures!

The ice is beautiful! Looking through my archives, I realized I didn't show any of my family day shots, but now I don't know if I can b/c they're filled with ice and snow! :)

We don't see that kind of ice here, thankfully!!

Very beautiful compositions.

Such gorgeous pictures! Picture #2 is stunning, with both the huge saves and the froszen branches! Quite a contrast, I think! :)

How lovely are those shots I especially like the first one - we are moving slowly into Spring over here - mind you that does not mean we won't get an icy blast or two this month - Jane UK

Brrr... It was windy but warm enough down here (near Chicago) that I walked around without a jacket. Those icicles sure do make for some great pictures. I hope you didn't get splashed by those waves.

Ice is just one of those beautiful things Mother Nature gifted us with. Lovely.

Splendid shots!

Oh darn! All that ice. It was 82 degrees here today which means all the Canadians will stay another couple of weeks and the golf courses will stay crowded. Sheesh!

I remember Lake Superior when it got stormy. Very scary!

How are things going, if you know what I mean? As you will see, I keep adding things ...

I absolutely love the last shot, such thick ice on the branches. Quite an artistic shot.

Awesome icicles.

Your top image is outstanding! It could be a book cover.

Cold, I bet, but the icicles are beautiful.

Great captures! If you're frequenting the lake, keep an eye open for the return of our migrant birds.

The Lake does look choppy, great contrast with the stillness of the icicles!

Splendid shot of the ice – it’s not something I see a great deal of here, even in winter!

Very cold. We are just turning to warm here in Ohio. And I like it.

Just so you know, Roger just kicked on the Air Conditioner. We have had temps around 80 the past couple of days.
