Although it was chilly out, these reflections were taken before the water froze.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before the water returns!

Very pretty golden reflections.. Lovely capture. Happy Friday!
We've been betwixt and between here--ice one day, open water the next.
In Robert Frost's words:
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Methinks he had this in mind. =)
Dearest EG; Wonderful gold color. Oh "before ice", wish to see the icy river p;-)

Beautiful soft reflections with the ripples and all.
Good thing you have a picture to prove that there was life before the present ice age. Brrr.
Nice to see the golden sunlight.

Very nice reflection in the "golden" water. Regards.
Interesting photo today. I also enjoyed yesterdays pic: Light at Jackson's Point. You came up with some fascinating creations with that picture. Always a pleasure to stop by here.
I like the reflections in this but also noted the straight lines of the trees, fenceposts and the steel underpinnings. Very nice!
Yah, I'd bet you wouldn't get those reflections now! But maybe some other kinds of reflections?
love the golden ripples.
That is just beautiful.
No matter how late into autumn, the remaining landscape still looks golden in the right light. You've captured that well.
Ice is best in a glass of whisky, if you ask me. That's a lovely reflection.
Bravo, amazing reflections they are, so happy you caught them!
Wonderful reflections and a perfect capture as always!! Your pics are always a delightful way to begin my day!! Have a lovely weekend!!
It may melt tomorrow!
Golden reflections. Very beautiful
We have had weather almost all week that has been high 40's and even a day that was 52*F...but all the ponds/strip pits stilll have ice on them. It must have been frozen deep in the cold snap.
Pretty picture. Show us the ice too. Brrrrr

A thing that I'd like to say sometimes :"before the ice" ..:o)
What a wonderful picture! Hard to tell where the real thing ends and the reflection starts! It seems very still and cold.
Such a warm coloured reflection.
Feelig like Aautum with those tones. Lovely.
A beautiful picture EG. Kettle's on :)
I'm glad you got these beautiful reflections before the harbor froze over.
Magical colours in this scene. Love the luminous effect of the reflections.
Beautiful reflections!
Looks like a peaceful moment.
The thought of leaving Honolulu is too distressing! I intend to haunt the streets and valleys along with the other ghosts already here.
