Lamp and shadow on front door
This building looks like it might have been a church at one time. I've tried to find information on Google, though, and the address is listed as a home. If it's a home now, it's a BIG one.
More shadows, including door trim
Today I'm showing you only the doors on the front entrance, which have recently been painted. They used to be a rusty hue quite similar to the colour of the brick.
The door

Nice Shadow shots!!
Love your captures for the day, as always! Your composition is always superb and I hope I learn from it!!! And SO colorful and such great shadow shots!! Hope your weekend is off to a great start!! Enjoy!!
Surely it was originally a church with an entrance like that.
Each time I see such a beautiful door , I'd like to see behind !
I Like your yesterday's rabbit !
I love that been against the brick. So appealing!
=)
i love it and maybe it is an old church they turned into a home to live in. i saw several on TV that did that on HGTV
It really looks like a church entrace.
Pretty shadow pictures.
Have a great sunday
It is quite charming, I love the shape of the doorway. The lamp...I like the shadow better than the real thing!!
Love the twirl. I never get tired of looking at shadows. I think they are often the poetry of a thing.
Gosh I hope you took a photo of the whole building? I love the door the lamp and the wreath. Have a happy Sunday.
I think you wait until the sun is in just the right spot to go out and take these shadow shots!
If the lamp was hanging down loosely would you have a limp lamp shadow?
Very graceful, elegant shadows. Everything about that door says Church.
whatever it is, if the rest of the building is as pretty as the front door it must be very lovely indeed.
That is one delightful door!
Appealing entrance area and so love the lamp design + bonus shadow.
It sure looks like the entrance to a church! Love the shadow, EG!
Beautiful shots! Could it also be a former one room school?
Nice photos, beautiful shade!
Excellent photos to light the way into the new year!

That is a very solid door. Maybe it is a huge family that lives there.
That entry looks like it was either a church or a school...
I love the new colour of the door! really stands out!!!
I think you're right-it looks like it used to be a small church.
Hi Tina,
Whoever lives in that home is surely very fortunate!
Lovely captures!!
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
It does look like a church. If it has been turned into a home, I'd love to see inside! Well, I'd love to see inside whatever it is. :) Wonderful photos!
Pretty door against that red brick!
So nice! The shadows are great. And the whole door looks very interesting: hinges on two sides and an unconventional looking door pull.
what a great building. you captured the shadow well.
Love the full shot.
I particularly like the first, close-up shot.
It looks like it might be a beauty of a house or even a church. Would like to have a doorway like that.
I would love to share the Wild Blackberry Jam with you. Maybe this summer we both could pick some.

That is an impressive front door. Sure looks like it was a church at one time.
Dearest EG;
Oh, shadows make great photographs aren't they♡♡♡ Love the western atmosphere♪

That's a very enticing entrance EG, I think it's conclusive.. we'd all like to go in :)
I love the old buildings. We have a church nearby, turned into a home. This is more common out here!
Welcome door, lovely old lantern light!
Great lantern shadow. It does look like a big building for a home.

I love the lantern and the newly painted front door. Wouldn't it be interesting to see inside if it's now been made into a home?
I simply adore your eye!
