What a beautiful back-lit image of an adorable subject. I've heard/read that wild animals don't actually see things all that well. They will notice a displacement where there was nothing before. And I think they sense vibration (our movements on the ground) and definitely hear very well. Have a great day. Jo
I don't think there are any critters, in the wild or in town, that can escape your camera! :) This is a cutie. We have some of these living in our bushes.
Cute bunny :) And great shot! I would've never made it, that bunny would have seen or heard me before I saw it :)) Can I please have some of that snow? Have a fine weekend 【ツ】Knipsa
What a cute bunny!! My German Shepherd would have loved him. :-) I love seeing the fluffed out bunnies in the cold winter. They congregate under our bird feeder in the evenings.
I've often thought that bunnies must think, by staying extremely still and not moving a hare (pun intended) and not even blinking, that they are invisible.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

so sweet... makes one smile at such a beautiful creature. don't you just love it when you can sneak up on them like that. nice shot. have a great day~
loved the tree reflection in the window (post below).
This is their defence mechanism, but I don't think it's the best, particularly against white snow. :)
Is that snow I see? Not the best place for a bunny to hide but I guess there wasn't much choice at the time.
Dearest EG; Truly, I've never seen wild bunny and of course not in the snow :-)
Adorable sweet eye♡♡♡

Quite a cute bunny! I have found that I can pass one by, four feet away, and if it moves, that's when I see it.
What a cute bunny. Amazing that you were able to get that close. Nice shot!
he would be hidden well in the spring or summer, but in the snow he stands out beautifully.. so sweet
Love the way they "freeze" when we humans approach.
Good photo.
What a cute bunny.
Great that you could get so close.
Best regards, Irma
Beautiful capture. I always like how they freeze as if they don't move you won't see them!
so darn CUTE!
On the lookout for Mr. McGreggor, I guess.
Oh so cute! The bunny isn't that hidden, if you captured him on your camera.

Lately I've seen a rabbit in my neighborhood. Not sure where he came from, but he's kinda cute.
=)
So cute...
Sweet! A bit early for Easter though!
A brave bunny out in the cold!

Fantastic shot.
Oh it is sooo cute!
What bunny?
Awesome shot of the sweet bunny.
Good for you! I usually have cats with me and critters scatter!!!!
made me smile :) Thanks!
Good shot! Our dog loves to chase rabbits like that. She's getting older now (12), so these days they can usually outrun her.
So cute. :)
Made me smile.
no I agree, it wasn't blending in very well. But if it had burrowed in under a bush it would have been hard to see. Fun picture.
