Pine needles coated with ice
I is for ICE/ICICLES
All three photos are from my archives. So far this year I haven't seen much ice or many icicles that I've wanted to photograph. But I'm sure I will someday soon.

Your photos certainly express the cold weather that is hanging on here.
Brrrrrrr, beautiful images.
Same here. Not that I'm complaining, you understand. :-)
Beautiful images.
Amazing photos! Ice creates the most gorgeous creations.
I have never seen ice like this on plant material and these shots are fabulous.
It's really interesting to observe the various ice formations.

Cool series on the icicles.. Pretty formations and colors, well done! Have a happy day!
Very pretty, but I'm sorry, I have become partial to palm fronds waving in the breeze at the beach! :)
Wonderful photos, ice was my choice for I as well, just haven't got around to posting yet.
I'd rather see raindrops really!
The first photo is beautiful! Ice can be lovely, but also dangerous! I don't mind if we miss out on it this year.
That is definitely my kind of weather!
So beautiful! I really like the second one.
Ice can be sort of magical to me as we don't get that much of it here.

Great shapes and forms for your excellent photos, but they give me a chill just looking at them.
all three are beautiful but the second one of the waves washing is something i have never seen and is amazing to me...
lovely! the middle 'teardrops' remind me of a chandelier. :)
A coating of ice can make the mundane look magical. Too bad it also can be so damaging.
Ice does make things look dramatic, but nice that you haven't had any this year. Pretty mild here so far too.
Lovely, super gorgeous photos! But gosh I need to catch up soon with Jenny and these posts, as I've got lost in life and my posts for Jenny are so far behind!
Awesome captures as always!! They take my breath away!! You do get the best shots of everything and I love to visit your blog!! Hope your week is going well!
Oh I would go out in search of these to photograph if I lived there but fortunately I do not live there. The pine needle one is great.
What a lot of icicles! That second shot is what I am talking about...amazing.
Your photos of the ice are lovely. I especially like the one with the pine needles.
Beautiful! At least the sun is out today and it's not so grey.
Ice is so fun to photograph!
Beautiful icicles photos. We haven't had many here either. Too cold! :)
Each one of these is stunning, and is ice in a different form. As I got to each picture, I was oohing and ahhing. Wonderful.
Beautifully it looks in the pictures, but I would not want such a cold winter. Regards.
Beautiful and creative ice and icicle photography!
Happy Weekend to you,

I love when the ice crusted branches of the willow chime in the breeze. . . .

That is some ice on those pine needles!
Gorgeous icicle shots!!
I am always mindful that ice can be so damaging in certain places, but it has amazing beauty.
Yes, you have a fine variety of icicles.
These are all amazing.
Very beautiful. We haven't had much for pretty icicles this year either. I'm fine with not having lots of ice.
Hi Tina,
Wonderful photos!
The 2nd one, icicles on the rock formed by waves, was a really nice surprise.
Peace :)
Brrrrr and beautiful ice images.
No icicles here, but there may yet be some. Lovely images!
Wow ! beautiful pictures ! Now I am freezing, lol !!
We have lots of pine needles but no ice on them this year. Thank goodness! Although it has been cold for several weeks. I love that last photo of the willow branches
You're after my heart, aren't you? :-)
Pretty icicle pictures, Ms. EGTG. Nature showing her other side, the cold and wet one.
..
Awesome photos! I especially like the pine needle icicles.
Really lovely captures of ice:)
Just gorgeous...:)JP
Terrific shot...you have such a great eye for your blog presentations♪
the pine needles look really cool. And I always love icicles near running water. Something about opposites are so enticing! {:-Deb
Wonderful shots of the icicles. We have a lot of them too.
I think icicles are beautiful the way they reflect light and the objects from which they hang. You always capture the beauty of things most people take for granted. Lovely photos.
I love these icy shots, especially the first
Beautiful pictures, they remind me of the time when we lived in Delaware and there was an ice storm and the trees were all bent over with the ice. I never see that kind of extreme here in Northern Ireland. dropping in from Alphabe Thursday.
