Whitby Harbour, dripping ice and reflection
Last Sunday was a cold but sunny day, sunny enough for ice to melt and break off from the pier at the entrance to Whitby Harbout.

A sign of Spring approaching, perhaps?!
You have captured the thaw? Beautiful nature pics :)
I really like the ice close-up in the first shot and the way it drips into the water. Great imagery.

I'd be shaking too hard to capture any usable images! Glad you don't have that problem, I'd hate to miss any of your brilliant images.

Beautiful, but also deadly! Funny how something so lovely can be wicked too!
EG CG -- No matter what you photograph, the pictures always turn out interesting. Today's remind me of a trip to Glacier National Park. Thanks for sharing. John
I like that first shot especially...the reflection shows more of the ice floe than what we can see just looking at the top of it.
Much smaller, of course, but the principle of the berg is the same!
really neat. :)
The tip of a small iceberg.
Very nice...
Cool ice photos, and nice reflections too.
You always get the greatest shots -- whatever you're photographing!! And they're always a great way to start my day!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

It would be neat having a little toy boat floating there.

My first mini-icebergs... Great catch, excellent title!
