Not impressed with CameraGirl
"Hey, CameraGirl, it's -8°C (18°F) and you want me to smile?"
Actually, I was smiling because the temperature felt kinda warm after the past few days. But I had been in my cozy car and this horse may have been outdoors for a while before I got there. Maybe he/she was feeling a bit chilly. Anyway, I do think this is a not-so friendly stare.
I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.

Cows have same stare... but I have never seen a cow with a blanket on. :)
That's a really great shot! :) The look is priceless.

I feel for the poor creatures having to endure the cold like that. I hope there's a warm stall somewhere waiting with piles of lovely hay. :-)
The horse looks kind of... fed up!
African horses wouldn't last 30 minutes in that type of weather. Great capture. Hope you all warm up soon. Greetings Jo
Awww, poor horse must be cold.. Great capture! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
What a fun photo! I love it.
He's thinking 'is there enough room for me in that car' :)
He is pleading 'take me inside, this coat is not warm enough!' Have a a wonderful weekend.
That's the look I often get when photographing horses, what, no apples? is my translation.
He's almost in camouflage!
It's amazing how warm they can be under the blankie! My grand-horse has a nice warm blankie and stay out all winter, and she has a nice shelter to go into when it's really miserable.
Such a good shot! I know my sister-in-law's two horses go in and out of the barn at their leisure during the winter.
I'm glad it's wearing a blanket against the cold. Great photo!
I always wonder just how much cold they feel...he does not look comfortable to me.
i can tell the owner loves the horse, that is a really great blanket coat.. maybe he/she was wondering why you were out when you did not have to be... or trying to figure out if you had carrots
The lovely horse might be wondering what the camera in your hand is and feel uncertain about its intent.
I think it's more of a "Can't you help me out here; I'm freezing and hungry!?"
We went to HITS (Horses in the Sun) yesterday - photos to be coming in a few days. Great fun. Cold, though. About 50-55 degrees!
completely non-plussed. :)
i agree, he doesn't look to happy. hope all is well your way. have a great day~
Everyone needs a warm coat in this weather, and some need an extra measure of oats.
That's funny - I posted Horses today too!
That's a great capture!
What a great shot and that look on his face is priceless indeed!! I think I can hear his disgruntling mumbling here in Oregon!! Have a great weekend -- him, too!!
Fun shot! The horse doesn't look too pleased. :-)
Gee, that's the look I often get from my dog when I attempt to take his picture. Love the horse's expression!
My brother has a horse. I've been teasing him, saying he should let the horse come inside where it is warm. Maybe this one wanted to be inside, too!
It makes me wonder how warm the coats do make the horses, this one looks more efficient than the blanket type at least.
The look is rather said isn't it? I'm cold and they're making me stay outside!
Fed up with winter! ;-)
"What have you done for me lately??"

Haha!
It is a good shot!
Yep, that's a stare. Mind you, if I tried to smile in weather that cold, my face would probably freeze that way and I would be walking around with a perpetual smile. Love the shot of the pretty horse. I hope he has a nice warm barn waiting for him with a load of fresh hay or oats for dinner.
Next time bring me a treat! said the horsey to the photographer!
At least he has a blanket! It has been warmer in our area lately too--the past few days it has gotten above freezing.
I'd feel grumpy too if I had to stand out in the cold.
