Looking southerly at farmers fields in January
When I first looked at this photo taken last week I was totally surprised. I had remembered taking this photo on a bright, sunny day. But here I could see only clouds! But then I checked some more photos and discovered...
Same field with more sky showing
that low clouds were hanging behind this small hill. And most of the rest of the sky really was clear blue...

Lovely images EG.. I've noticed that here sometimes also, clear blue in one direction clouds in the other.. not so much theses days though it's toooo blue :)

I hope the sun pushed the clouds away. Even so the photo is very nice. A bit like a Christmas card.
I quite like that first one; the sun on the snow contrasts nicely with the cloudy skies.

this sun coming and going is exactly what we have had here for 6 days now. look out the front window and see bright sun, look to the South and it is dull. our weather report is partly cloudy and no rain in sight which we need. but the temps are good and like these photos still beautiful

Pretty countryside. It looks that way here right now. Clear blue sky to the east, brilliant sunshine and clouds hanging on the western horizon. A change in the weather for tomorrow.

It is a beautiful field regardless of which direction one looks at it from.
The lighting in the first two pics is just perfect. Often hard to get it right in the winter. Beautiful in every way.
And the moral is, when you're getting antsy or unhappy, get a new perspective! :)
