Lovely blooms. I like the may apple best.
I do, and I think they're more wildflowers in bloom around me than real genuine flowers! Seriously. Great photos.
Tina, that may apple is gorgeous!!!
The look of the chestnut blossoms is interesting... I don't know if I've seen them here.
Oh how beautiful!
The TV weather man this morning say it's officially the first day of summer over here. I suspect you may be a little behind us so it's wonderful to see these lovely pictures. The first one is my favourite, a smashing close up...

triple wow on the macro of the horse chestnut flowers.
So that is what a May Apple blossom looks like. Very pretty.Darla
I did have mayapples growing beside my porch...then we extended it and covered them up. BUT, we covered up Jack in the pulpit, and now they are on the outside again, so maybe the Mayapple will be someday, too. I really need to go and get more...I would not have to go far.Aren't there just so many woods plants that are wonderful!
yes I do love Spring, unfortunately I have to wait until September here :-)
Spring is so pretty and so welcome after a cold winter.
Beautiful. Being in California, I forget that spring flowers must just be popping elsewhere, especially in places that had lots of snow. Take 25 to Hollister
It certainly is beautiful out there. My mayapples are done blooming already. Just saw a couple of flowers on them this year.
I did not know what the horse chestnut tree looked like and I wonder if we have any around here...I will have to look into that..Michelle
