Door 11 - Streets Alive!

On an angle  facing the sidewalk (I think)

This is another recycled door, part of Streets Alive! Downtown Doors in Orillia. This door was recycled into art by Orillia artist Angie Fraser.

Backside, I think

Sorry about the glare and shadows, but I took these photos on a very bright morning.

If you missed previous Doors Alive! Downtown Doors posts you can see them here:

Somehow I did miss the other doors EG so I was happy to go back and check them out. Door 28 is too fabulous, a little bit of Art Deco styling going on there!

The Mount Washington Hotel has recycled windows lining the walls as picture frames. Pretty creative use of discarded windows.

Now this one I can really go for!

Lovely stained glass, I can imagine the light streaming through that. Takes me back to a visit to Costa Rica where our room had stained glass in the doors a Windows. Thanks EG.

It reminds me of stained glass, EG!

This is such a fun way to display art.

I especially like the front of this one. (My favorite is still the one off behind it, the first one you showed us.) It looks like a cross between stained glass and metal art, though if your second shot was the backside I can't imagine that it's glass...?

That is a pretty nice eyeful of color. So unique, too.
