Door 2 - Streets Alive!

Side facing the sidewalk

This is another recycled door, part of Streets Alive! Downtown Doors in Orillia, a city a bit more than an hour north of where I live.  A couple of weeks ago, I showed you another of the Streets Alive! Downtown Doors here and another posted last Saturday HERE .

This door - transformed by Karen Bell, a community studies teacher at Georgian College - invites you to open it to check out the other side.

Closeup of some of the knobs

So imagine you can pull on a knob and...

Side facing the street

find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Those doorknobs remind me of some 'wonderland' scene. Which one to turn?

I love that. SO creative. I could use that on a house.

These are cool. Makes me want to do something like that to my front door. Oh wait...I'm married.

Pick a knob and see what you get. I don’t know how that was done but it looks brilliant. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our front doors were as magical as that.

I like the street side but must withhold judgment on the sidewalk side. All those knobs and handles just doesn't quite grab me. I guess it's just a matter of different strokes for different folks, eh?

What a fascinating old door, lots of bells and whistles and the rainbow design is cool.

I really love this exhibit! All the doors are so interesting! This one has quite an interesting assortment of knobs. Is that mirror above the rainbow?
