Colourful chicken
In a town next to East Gwillimbury, a farmer has free range chickens. So free that sometimes they stand by the edge of the road! (Brave, aren't they? Oh, and crazy too.)
Breast feathers
This one is so attractive with flecks on its breast feathers and...
Tail feathers
peacock colours on its tail that it's not difficult to understand why

Yep they are beautiful!
Um verdadeiro "Samurai", um abraço e um bom ano de 2016.
Cute!
Hello, they are pretty chickens. The closeups of the feathers is beautiful. I like the yard art chickens too.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!
I prefer real chickens, but hubby says no, so I'll just admire the artist's creations.
Have a great day!
Lea
the market ones are awesome, too!

Feliz 2016!!!
All good things to you!♩♫ه° ·.

I live minutes from downtown Tampa, and have neighbors with chickens. See so many breeds, all beautiful. As long as they don't keep a cock with their constant (especially early AM) cackles...I'm good. :)
On our trip to Hawaii we saw all sorts of wild chickens in the rural areas. I thought it was comical.
I've seen some strange and fun variety of chickens. I like these a lot. I'd love to have one of the fake ones. I'd put it in my yard where it would be easily seen. We're not allowed to have chickens in this subdivision, so that would drive the Nazis on the governing board crazy and I'd laugh and laugh and laugh.
Hey, 2016 is already starting out pretty good!
That chicken is gorgeous...and I like the ones at the market, too.
I love the "real thing!" Come visit me at my Mazatlán blog during January: http://kate-mazatlanmexico.blogspot.mx
Thea are beautiful and at first I thought the last ones were real:):) Happy New Year. Hug B
Beautiful shots of the colorful chickens ~ Love the 'market' ones too.
Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year ^_^
I love chickens, real and fake. I had a neighbor (up the road a half mile) who had chickens and they were alongside the road frequently. They always seemed to remain safe.
I'll take the fake chickens. I already spend too much money each year for birdseed.
I love colourful roasters. Fantastic and beautiful! I greet! :)
I am a chicken lover too...I think some breeds are gorgeous with their bright colors and interesting combinations. You have a fine specimen here. Happy New Year!
Alive or metal they speak my language too!
Live or replicas, they are colourful!
I love chickens & roosters are literally so cocky! Beautiful feathers!
Very handsome critters. The feather coloring is lovely. Fun post. Happy Critter Day and Happy New Year!
Well isn't he a dandy? I don't think I have seen a chicken with turquoise tail feathers before.
Happy New Year to you- I hope it's a great start. I am just glad the rain is over for now and awaiting the first glimmer of winter's arrival.
Why did the chicken almost cross the road? :) Pretty bird and nice photos.
Wow...what dazzling colors!! The real one is so pretty.
Very nice ones, the real and the fakes...
Oh, yes!! They are handsome -- real and fakes!! And, as always, you find the best shots for the day!! I hope you're enjoying a great weekend!! And I am looking forward to another year of your wonderful captures!!! You do make my day!
Those are some colourful chickens!
Wow! He's a beauty!
All the colors on this one are amazing and beautiful.I used to have some Bantams when I was at home and they were quite colourful as well.
great texture, and of course that green
Very pretty!
A farmer near my sisters house has chickens that go where they want. And they're right by the horse trail, too. But the chickens seem smart enough not to go too far.
~
I think I agree with Andy: the real one is quite a cool dresser.
Joli ;o)
He's just gorgeous! I strongly believe in free range, but you have to worry about predators when there's no large enclosure of some kind!
