Local barn
I've been looking through my "archives" lately and have discovered some red barns. The first one ALWAYS has a lot of "stuff" out front but the day I made this photo it was relatively clear.
Surrounded by evergreens
The second had been repurposed as an antiques store, but by the time I made this photo is was back to being a simple old red barn.
A newer barn
The third one is more modern and has - in spring and summer - a beautiful vineyard and garden out front...but it's difficult to see the barn. Now you can see the barn but the garden looks a bit scraggly.

I love these red barns! You certainly know how to get nostalgia going inside my head!
Wonderful collection of red barns. The last photo is my favorite. Have a happy new week!
Red is my favorite barn color! You've found some nice ones!
in the first barn i am wondering what that teeny tiny window was there for and notices odd shaped windows in the second, the 3rd is a beauty and so is the fence
OOO nice images. I like them all but I will rate the third as #1

Hey, what's the point of having a barn if you can't park a lot of stuff around it!
The third one's my favourite.
Red barns may be my favorite. Nice photos.
Well, you have some treasures in your archives. Hope yours are better organized than mine. That one with all its machinery and snow and the paint wasting away is beautiful. It looks like one I would see here in my area. The green roof and the interestingly paned windows in the second shot are so pretty. The third one there in the distance makes for a gorgeous winter rural landscape. This is a lovely post.
Your first and third barns, in particular, are special.
The last barn is so pretty in the snow!
Love the red barns in the snow. Farms are often quiet during winter months, especially with no animals around.
Funny how they repurpose and then let them go back to ruin! So many unused farm houses these days.
Great collection this week, thanks for sharing. Red is always a favorite. I hope that you have a bunch more to share in the future,
Lovely set of pictures. In my mind, all barns should be red.
Wow, these are all three real beauties. Each has so much barn appeal. I think the last tugs at my heart a bit the most, probably cause of the blue sky.
Nothing like a red barn. So classic!
Nice barns!
All three are huge. And I guess the third one answers my question as to whether grapes can be grown in a snowy climate.
What a lovely collection of red barns!
