Nice spot for a summer cottage, but where oh where has our summer gone?

Looks like a cool day. Lovely view from the shore.

A summehouse just about anywhere would be nice. Why do we always want to 'get away'?
We are sweltering with record and unheard of heat and this Pacific NW girls needs some RAIN. MB

Looks like a lovely place to spend the summer. I bet winter might be rough, however.

I think I could very easily spend a summer in that setting. This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful place.

A place like that would be a writer's dream. I would spend all of my time looking out the window. Great shot!

Very nice scene! Wouldn't mind a summer house of my own! LoL!

Cottages? These look like major-sized homes...incredibly beautiful scene! Reminds me, again, so much of northern Minnesota! Especially along the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Beautiful photo, EG!

A lovely view! I could take my morning stroll! Enjoy!

There's a pretty spot. I wouldn't mind being in the kitchen of that house, instead of needing to go downstairs to mine, which has no lovely watery view.

I'm curious to know what that is closer to the water's edge. It looks too flexible to be driftwood - could it be seaweed of some description?

Mirage said...

How's the weather there? I would enjoy staying at a house like that! PErfectly built!

Lovely location, and not just for the summer!

We both did homes by the water - cool. :)
I like yours though. I'd want to be down there walking picking up stray shells and driftwood.
A summer house - not happening here!

If I lived there I'd be down on the stones looking for beach glass. Looks just like our Lake Erie. Great choice EG.

Lovely place to be these cottages. I wouldn't want to leave. T

here is an abandoned yellow kitty for give away in Greensboro that looks just like the picture in your profile. Shall we send him to you?

WOW! It would be an all year round house for me -- how lovely a place to live any time!

Catching up and I left comments on your last 5. I finally got a new post up while learning to load photos on a community PC until I can get my own computer fixed or replaced. I have three ready to go for a couple more days now. One of these days, I will finish my camping adventure.

It must be such a treat to wake up there!
You asked how I made my underwater photo...I just bought a small and cheap underwater camera, that's all. I highly recommend it, though...its great fun :)
