A composition I really enjoyed - all according to the book (as you always are). The life buoy fitted nicely in with the partial shot of the bench and subtly indicates a dip in the water followed by bit of recreation on the bench.

I always assumed swimming holes were unattended or they wouldn't be swimming holes.

This is very well composed...just a great photo! The water looks inviting, but the sign sort of puts a damper on things...smart folks would have someone ready to toss the life preserver.

Shouldn't the sign read "Bathers bathe at their own risk"? Some bathers might not swim at all, just bathe.

Sorry, I'll quit now. With re: to your question on Ocala DP about fundamentalists ... I've got some theories, but it's best to relate those in a more private setting...

Have a wonderful day!

Benches are almost as neat looking as old barns. Dontcha think?
Nice shot. Love the sign and old life preserver too. MB

I think I would take advantage of that beautiful bench and jsut watch those who partake of the water. Nice setting for a gorgeous bench!

Drop by and see mine on my bench blog.
