Swing Bridge/ Weekend Reflections

Reflection of a swing bridge (Bolsover, Ontario) over the Trent-Severn Waterway at sunset

This swing bridge is open and you can see one end reflected in the calm water below. At the same time, low light is casting a golden glow on some concrete and parts of the bridge.

Another reflection of the same swing bridge

Lots of interesting structures in this one - and the "sun" topped it off.

Hi EG! Before I forget: Re your Colorado question - I believe those crosses are probably made from the same trees that are used for telephone poles...

And re Stone Creek: Yes, I always follow along on my bike. Can't run! Unless I'm playing golf... :-)

Cool bridge shots with great colors and reflections.

I like the 2nd picture. The water looks oily and the pattern from the mesh is very interesting.

I am always curious about swing bridges: you almost never see two of them alike!

If you ever return to the area in the springtime go to these coordinates 44.50829, -79.11952 and you will see the pickerel spawning. Once they are finished the suckers show up for the same reason.
Great photo with all the different colours reflecting in the water.
