Peterborough/ Watery Wednesday

Sunset over Little Lake,  Peterborough, Ontario

Last Saturday was basically overcast, but just as we were passing through Peterborough at a little past 4pm,  the sun squeaked a few rays through the clouds and onto Little Lake.

Very impressive. I almost imagine the heavens parting and angel Gabriel appearing in a beautiful, business suit.

That little golden light in the sky keeps the pic from getting too melancholy! Love the contrast!

WATCHING FOR THE WET STUFF

Water for the thirsty,
Water just for play,
Water for the forests,
Water for the hay—

Water’s what we’re seeking,
Both on sea and land,
Watching for the wet stuff,
Cameras in hand.
