December 1/ theme Day/ Nature Notes

Lots of variety in the weather right now

It's that TIME of year: we are in between autumn and winter! (The City Daily Photo theme this month is: TIME)

A little sunshine, a bit of snow, some melting...and definitely chilly.  I just had to include the two leaf prints made by Mother Nature on a concrete sidewalk. Aren't they lovely?

I really do like those leaf prints! And the picture of with the canoe. It is really windy here today and cooling down to 27 tonight. Maybe I can get some frosty pics in the morning!

The leaf prints are amazing. Looks pretty chilly in your neck of the woods.

I love how you can capture beauty at what feels to me a dull time of year.

Nice pictures, Ms. TG. Thank you for your nice compliments. Blogging is fun isn't it!
I am waiting for the lakes to freeze over up there. I know you will report with nice pictures on that too. :)

Do you know the Simon and Garfunkel song 'time time time and see what's become of me...' That's what I wanted to post today but forgot about it completely.

Such a lovely cold autumn collage!

Artistic and beautiful image, and a good TIME choice.

Great post, EG! We've got some leaf prints in the walkways at Sholom Park too...they're exquisite.

Nice take on the theme...and you've illustrated it very well.

Gonna get cold here tonight and tomorrow night...below 30 F - hate it
! But it will climb back into the 60s during the day so that's something.

Me again...re your question on Stone Creek: no, our house looks almost exactly like this one, though...this is across a field from our house...

I love the leaf prints. As usual all your shots are great but the leaf prints were quite a find.

Nice characterisation of the season. Lovely iced leaves. I like the canoe at the picnic table and the riders although I am amazed that one is riding without a hard hat. Here it would be forbidden although our girls ride bareback with their hair streaming behind them but only on our farm.

Beautiful and 'timely' collage. Yours are the best. I too like the leaf prints. MB

Love this time of the year, all that is missing right now is snow. But don't worry, it will soon be here.

I like the design created by the melting snow, but those leaf prints are also neat.
