Green Heron/ Weekend Reflections

Juvenile green heron and it's reflection

Stalking this green heron has been my obsession for the past few weeks. On Wednesday, the heron humoured me and sat for a photo shoot.

I didn't know there was a GREEN heron. I would have pursued one if I ever took a picture of something that wasn't a person. Or a pair of shoes.

Fantastic, and it posed so nicely for you.

We have several varieties of herons here on the Gulf Coast but I am not sure that we have the green herons. This is a great capture and congratulations on getting this young bird to sit for your photo opp!

I like this one! I prefer the first shot. When I saw these images my brain clicked into B&W mode because I know these photos would be even better in mono. LOL
