Pod Racer/ Our World

Going downhill in style

Fast and soft! Doesn't this inflatable pod racer look like fun? And for extra precaution, the rider is wearing a helmet.

At the top of the hill, making sure the rider is safe

Wow! What a ride!

Oops! Are those tail lights leading?

What comes down must go up

What fun! Gosh, look what we are missing out on down here in the South!

this is really cool and it would be easy to store during the summer. 150 minutes per week, as a minimum.

Wheeeee! That's the first word that came to mind as I saw these.

Those things are tricked out like racing cars.

At the slopes we visited in Uxbridge, the kids were required to wear helmets. I think it's a good idea, better safe than sorry.
I've never seen one of these inflatable thingies, but it looks like fun!

Renegade #7 looks like a very skillful driver...wonder how old he is and what his professional aspirations might be. It wouldn't take a wild guess for that young man!

I love it. I need to find those for when the grand kids come to visit, they would absolutely love it, they would have to bring their hockey helmets tho, we don't have any laying around the house anymore :)

What an amazing sled for young and old alike. With all that soft protection I would love to go sledding again.
Wow, wonderful shots as always.

What fun! I want one!

I've not seen this type of sled before. It looks like it would be lots of fun, even if you did have to trudge back up the hill.

This is new to me also, but it sure does look like a good ride!

that is SO cool!!!

That looks like so much fun. The children in my neighborhood have been disappointed at not being able to use their sleds yet this winter. It's still possible they well get a chance but so far we've had the wimpiest winter ever.

Oh wow, I'd do that. Do they make an adult who thinks he's still a kid size?

I'm with the others: This is new to me, but it looks great and relatively safe. What fun for the kiddos. Nice series of action shots.

Re your question: I care nothing about football, but we ended up watching the game and found it to be rather enjoyable. It was exciting. I had no favorite team. I dislike all of them.

Looks like great fun! I'm surprised that the inflatable thingamajic is sturdy enough for the punishment it gets! Great shots.

it would be a lot easier on the bum than a toboggan!

Is that what a sled has now become!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Oh, what fun!! My kids would have loved one of those - way back when! Terrific that he's wearing a helmet! Hmmmm, come to think of it, I'd like a ride in one of those, too, only I don't think my legs would fold up that small!! Have a great week!

A lot more high tech than when I used to slide down the snow on any old bit of wood I could find. And probably safer too!
