Scavenger Hunt

 a. What I'm doing today

Well, truth be told, this is NOT me BUT I am wondering what this man is doing today...or what he was doing here. Anyone have a clue? (Yes, I am cheating, but how can I show you what I am doing when a LOT of the time I haven't a clue myself.)

 b. Inside

This bumble bee is inside this Japanese anemone. In fact, her head is in amongst the stamens trying to get as much pollen as she possibly can. Perhaps you can see some of the stamens she has scattered in her search.

 c. Candid

Very Candid as I used my zoom lens to take this shot, plus it's cropped. I think they are hunting for frogs.

 d. YUM

I toyed with the idea of posting an apple here but reasoned that most of you are likely more into ice cream. Am I right?

e. Natural light

There's nothing more natural than the light over the harbour at Port Whitby!

I am linking to Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt HERE

I visited Ashley's link; she has an amazing camera and lens it seems and she is a very good photographer, as you are. I particularly liked your first photo with all the cairns in the sand.

Hello, wonderful series. I like the candid shot and the flower and bee image. The last sailboat scene is just beautiful!
Enjoy your day and have a great new week ahead!

I'm not sure I'd want to ask. :-)

Nice set of photos: disparate yet with some sort of common link.

Where is this? It's charming!

...but hunting for frogs? Yikes! Why??

Haha..oops...just realized it says Central Ontario right there at the too of the page! Ugh... ;-)

I grew up in Michigan, not too too far from there. We lived on the thumb, on the shore of Lake Huron. Thought that lake photo looked familiar!

Great set - we both went 'inside' a flower and included bees! I think the guy on the beach is trying to set up statues to match the pattern of tattoos on his body...no??!!

I'd go for ice cream over an apple, EG! Love the flower & bee pic.

a - The guy is obviously a serial killer.
b - the bumble bee is making a mess of that poor flower!
c - I think they heard of the above-mentioned serial killer...
d - You are absolutely right!
e - This is obviously my favorite!

I've seen larger versions of what the man is doing. I'm very mystified though.

I love the shot of the bee digging in for the pollen.

A wonderful set of photos indeed, greetings!

Beautiful photos, especially the bee and scattered stamens. I would opt for the yummy ice-cream over an apple! Thanks for sharing. Jo

You are a scavenger hunt photography artiste! Super post! And yes, I'd rather eat ice cream than an apple and I don't care what the doctor says!

I posted salmon patties for "yum" so I really like your ice cream shot! I think the guy in the first photo took a lot of time to stack the rocks in neat little piles. Maybe he is going to sit quietly in the sand and watch the tide take them away. Whatever the reason, it is fascinating.

All the shots are great but my favourite is the candid one. Hope you have a great week.

Pebbles and wood for land art? (Are those tattoos he's got?) Ooooh I wouldn't mind sailing while eating an ice-cream!

The ice cream parlour looks strangely familiar.

Fantastic job with the hunt.
I liked it all very much. - Your candid shot was great and I did laugh about the (What I'm doing) prompt.
I hope to get back into doing the hunt soon.
