Orange Milkweed

 Orange milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa)

Pretty, plus it's a butterfly magnet! Sadly, I have seen no butterflies on it yet this year, but I have seen...

Ant on orange milkweed

Bee on orange milkweed

I never knew about the plant.

It's bursting with color. It's also known as pleurisy root and can be used medicinally .

On our walk this morning I noticed some of the milkweed was in bloom and the monarch butterflies seemed to be enjoying it. Enjoying your pictures.
