Door #9 - Streets Alive!

Sidewalk side of shadow of partial Door #9

A door in Orillia's Streets Alive! 2015, this metal archway gate - welded together by Sean Dziela - creates an intricate shadow.

This one looks like it might work well as a garden gate, unlike some of the others which, colourful and attractive as they are, have lost touch with their original purpose. I like the way you've concentrated our attention on the shadow.

Another fine piece! I haven't seen a door yet that isn't beautiful or amazing or interesting or a combination of these.

Perfect for making an entrance, and I love how you've captured the shadows it creates. Two artists, in collaboration...

A beautiful, intricate design that would look so delightful in a garden.

Love your scavenger hunt images! I may have to check that out (dreading that I will love it knowing that I already have too much on my plate). And this gate! Mh, my gosh, it is so sweet. Wishing I had it in my yard.

So very nice...when I see metal, I always think 'Roger could do this.'

That metal gate is wonderful and I like the delicate shadow it makes on the ground.

This would work as a decorative security door maybe but I like the wood doors more.
