Light

Lens peeking through chain link fence

Bright light filtering through leaves above,
creating shadows on the forest floor.
Backlit leaves aglow but quickly fading
anticipating a drop into deep sleep -

Indian Summer at Grand River Gorge

a fall into the gorge below
