CPR Train

 Canadian Pacific Railway mural

If you like trains, Parry Sound is a great place to visit! Trains have passed through this town since 1899.  This mural celebrates the Canadian Pacific Railway, important to the town since the days of steam engines.

Trains were such an important part of bringing this great country together from east to west. The steam engine never seizes to romanticize a more genteel era, even though times were probably a lot tougher then and the same workhorses they are now.
