Pier at Oshawa

Fence on the entrance to the pier

Many years the gate is closed by this time in December to keep fishers (and photographers)  from slipping on ice and falling into the harbour, so last week I was surprised to see the gate wide open. But hey! No ice to worry about!

It does look winters though & I'd still be afraid of a large wave washing me away but it looks like a great pier!

Weird, huh? But I noticed the weather prognosticators are predicting a dramatic cool down come Jan. 1. Back to winter. :-)

No ice here either...It's kinda nice, but I miss the Christmas snow!

I like this shot. Simple. Peaceful.

The lack of cold and ice is surprising. I like this shot very much because it is so interesting and very well composed. Actually, it does look rather cold and windy! :)

And a very Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I guess that's one good thing with the warmer weather. Beautiful wintry scene even without the snow.
