Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
Christmas isn't calm - I know about it - we go on a trips and many different things. I with my family go everywhere. We become calm after 25 December. I greet! :)
Yep, much the same here. I went hiking on a trail where I normally would expect to meet quite a few people. But as someone said, they've probably all gone shopping or or spending some quiet time with family members.
Lovely fine shadow lines create an interesting pattern. I am grateful when the holiday crowds are somewhere else. I feel i can breathe freely.
Nicely composed and nicely patterned! It was quiet in our neighborhood today but then there are no big stores nearby!
I made the mistake of going in one of those malls today and came out with a splitting headache, at a time when I am already under the weather.I rather prefer the quiet of this spot.
I'll take a day out with my camera taking pictures than shopping any day.
Beautiful, peaceful capture!! In the northwest it is still GRAY, WET and COLD!! But I had a beautiful Christmas anyway thanks to my wonderful family and new Grandbaby!! Hope you've had a lovely holiday!! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!!
A super shot, EG! It was quiet in my part of town but I avoided the malls.
I love the shadow patterns, something I often look for.
Interesting patterns with shadows!
Looks like a lovely day. Much better to be there than shopping! :)
looks like a beautiful day to be OUT.. and you were..
You chose a right time to be out to enjoy the sun and peace. Blessed Sunday!
These are very nice diagonal shadows from the fine that keeps us on land and out of the water. Although I'd prefer a walk along the water in June instead of December with less pronounced shadows. Either season, this is lovely place!
Love the angle of the patterns cast by the fence! I hope your Christmas/Holiday celebrations were everything you hoped them to be!
Makes me want to throw a stone and play crazy hopscotch.
