Sunset Over Stable/ Sky Warch

Catching the last of the sun's glory one evening about a year ago

Lately the skies over East Gwillimbury have been pretty dreary so this is from my archives. The shot was taken from atop a small hill on the one of the major north-south roads in EG.

My husband and I saw the sunset from our home, hopped into the car to find a great view... and got this far before the light began to fade. Sometimes we catch the entire show but this evening we saw only the ending.

Beautiful sky. I think you should work on capturing "dreary" tho. Who knows what you could do with it.

Chasing Sunsets! Sounds like the title of a wonderful novel.

Better the ending than to miss it altogether!
And I agree with B Squared about the novel!!

This is a beautiful sunset -- I'm glad you chased after it. Chasing sunsets can be as rewarding as tracking down waterfalls.

Why are we so powerfully attracted to sunsets? Their peach and orange glory speaks to us all. Imagine when people first discovered fire and could have that show any time! Beautiful photo.
