Over Uxbridge Fields/ Sky Watch

Sun going down over Uxbridge (Ontario) farm

Last Tuesday this was the sky as we returned home from Port Perry. It had been a hazy day and I was very sure there would be no sunset. Obviously I was totally WRONG!

Boy, those hazy ones seem to give us the best sunsets. Great shot. MB

It is quite a dramatic sunset, EG. Nice.

My kind of shot...haze often produces terrific sunsets...sometimes in Florida we get dust blowing across the Atlantic from Africa...that can lead to spectacular sunrises & sunsets!

Mmmmm... I'm somewhat jealous, you seem to get more of these fiery sunsets than we do!.... Whenever it's looking like this I'm out with the camera but just as the sun sets the clouds disapear!...:(
Thanks for sharing your view!....:)

Hi there - thats a great sunset. I like the way it could be almost anywhere - you construct your own place for it and them find out its elsewhere. Splendid.

No wonder you are up to 55 comments....this is drop dead gorgeous as I would say. That is one gorgeous sun. The entire composition is perfect. It is one of those special shots you would love to see in a gallery. Hope you are having a nice weekend. I am so behind in my comments...we have been testing at school for 3 weeks now and I am about dead!
