Birds and buds - spring is busting out all over
A starling parent has just delivered yummy treats to babies clamoring for more. Working clockwise: chokecherry (Prunus viginiana) blossoms, yellow flag (Iris pseudacorus), high bush cranberry (Viburnham trilobum), dames rocket (Hesperis matronalis), and a yellow garden iris.

What beautiful bud captures, so vibrant and lovely. That bird, amazing how you captured it peeking out.
Lovely collage. We have starlings in Tasmania - but they are introduced and considered a pest. I do love their song though and can understand why the English brought them over. they just make life for our native birds a bit difficult.
