Snow fencing on beach, Oshawa
It's looking more and more like late autumn. Canada geese (seen beyond the snow fencing) have arrived from the Arctic. (Many of the geese that live here during the warmer months have fled to the southern U.S.)
Leaves on the beach
Leaves, pebbles and driftwood litter the sand.
A yellow-rumped warbler flitted about the beach debris looking for dinner.
Another deserted beach, Whitby
I was surprised to find this yucca plant growing amongst the pebbles.

I am still aching to visit a sandy beach... And here you have a couple of them!
I love the image of the leaves on the beach, and the water droplets on the yucca!!!
Nice photos of Lake Ontario's shoreline Camera Girl. It looks so barren but you did manage to find plant and animal life.
There's something about a beach any time of the year that makes one want to linger. Beautiful photos.
A yucca plant in Whitby who knew:) Oh your photos are awesome. Hug B
All your pictures are so beautiful.
Greetings, RW & SK
The yucca plant is so incredibly hardy and almost impossible to destroy. I don’t recall ever seeing snow fencing around the beaches in my neck of the woods but I have seen a lot of litter on the sand. It all looks so pretty in your pictures, especially the beads of water on the yucca.
Nice shoreline shots, and that warbler is a cute one...I didn't know the name, but it sure fits the little guy.
There is something captivating about an empty beach.
I can't wait until we get our yellow-rumped warblers back. He's so sweet here. Neat images of the beach(es)!!
Lovely photos, the yellow rumped warbler is a subtly pretty little bird
deserted beaches are my thing, these are lovely. and so is that bird. the droplets are perfect
pretty, quiet scenes. love the warbler.
I've come across your "snow fencing" on our beaches along the Pacific Coast. They use it to protect ground nesting plovers. Am glad ours is for that and not snow.
Fine collection of late fall beach photos. Think I can feel the cold breeze here.
Lovely series of late autumn shots EG, it looks like its going to be a very cold winter for you and a very hot summer for me, if only we could work something out :)
I love visiting the beach(es) in autumn. They are so quiet. Great shots, terrific water droplets!
There is something about an empty beach in the fall. Yucca plant? wow...
Nice bird shot! Love the sunny beach with fall colors.
Everything seems to be preparing for the long winter months. It looks like a quiet time to visit the beach.
A great series! I'd like to have some of those nice smooth rocks on the beach to paint on! LOL!
Really?? A snow fence on the beach...
Det første billede er rigtig godt.
Den røde farve giver meget til himlen! Kompositionen er også fin.
That first shot just feels soooo lonesome...and of course that makes me love it even more.
Beautiful Fall shots. That little warbler is very cute. I still like the beach even in the winter. MB
A lovely series of beach photos. I hope you have a mild winter :)
Ooooo-weee! looks like a beautiful place to be.
The stuff of dreams, actually . . . thanks.
Good shoreline shots, and the snow fences are definitely another sign of winter being upon us.
Beaches look so forlorn in the cold weather, EG!
A beach near Whitby? How quaint can these Ontario towns get?!! Yes, I'm feeling nostalgic and homesick for Southern Ontario, especially in the fall, there's nothing more beautiful!
Beautiful images, thank you!
loving the water droplets. ( :
It may be fall, but you have still found some amazing beauty.
Great beach tour!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Beautiful shots!! I've been biding the Canada geese farewell of late. Glad they are moving along nicely. :)
Beautiful Autumn captures, EG, as always!! I love the warbler and foggy beach!! Hope you have a great week!

I enjoyed all the shots but I love the way the water droplets look like little jewels on the yucca.

Beautiful sights from your world.
Love the gem studded leaf.
The Canada Geese have been exported to the UK but not, unfortunately that lovely little Warbler. I like the water droplets very much.
