Beautiful images of the snowy place.
I love the delicate look of the close up on the wire in the second shot.
Especially with a light dusting of snow.
Nice in winter colors! The wire of the fence, the snow and the shadows in the first photo makes such a lovely pattern.
The old fence, red roof on the barn, snow, birds, iconic!!
Pretty winter and fence scenes! I love the view of the barn and line of fence.. And I am happy to see the bluebird houses..Have a happy day!
I thought my link to Good Fences was good but yours is so much better! :-) Very nice pics!
I love that bluebird house, it blends with the fence perfectly.
Indeed that is a pretty fence with the wire against the snow.

Stunning, especially the top one..
These ARE good fences.I enjoy your shadows and light in the first photo
You're right EG so pretty and how wonderful the little birdhouse, such a lovely idea.
Very pretty indeed right now!
That first image looks like a lovely painting. Beautiful light and shadows.
I think I agree with you: winter fencing draws the lines.
What a clever place for a birdhouse … a perfect place to snuggle in from the wintry cold!
Lovely wintry landscape!
Very nice job on the fence photos!
what a pretty country road!
I saw a pair of bluebirds here the other day. Wouldn't they look pretty in that snowy landscape. Do they stay in your area during the winter?
I love your first photo. Such a nice country scene!
so pretty! neat to see the weathered barn with a red roof!
Very enjoyable photos. Lovely to see the bird house attached to the second shot.
EG, I so would love to travel the roads you travel. You always have some of the best photos.
Oh I love this fence and especially the birdhouse that's attached and unexpected.
So enjoyed my visit and visiting from Good Fences.
Have a nice day!
Indeed pretty! Love that birdhouse :)
lovely rural scenes
Of course I love that red roof off in the distance! Nice fence within a perfect winter scene, and that bird/wren house is charming. The boys next door built a few of those years ago and stuck them on my fence. They still serve the bird community and the boys are all grown up with families of their own now!
I particularly like that first picture. We've just had a sprinkling of snow like the first picture - the first of our winter.
Love that little bird house!
I agree with you that they are really pretty! I love the post with the bluebird house.
Wonderful captures for the day!! I love the red-roofed barn and the bird house! Such tranquil scenes! Hope you're getting ready for a lovely weekend!! Stay warm and enjoy!!
Had all the best elements: snow, field, fence, barn, sky! In answer to the question, it would be 'shared history' . See yesterday's Cranberry Morning post. :-)
Wonderful images, Tina!
The snow as background really help these beautiful images!
That is a lovely, wintery and country scene. I love that they included a birdhouse on the fence.
Very beautiful and scenes we don't see here in Florida. I love country roads! Hugs!
We've had snow today but I took my fence shots yesterday. The snow really enhances that second shot.
Wonderful snow scenes!
Beautiful scenery and the snow is so beautiful covering everything like that.
I also like the photos of the kayaks in the previous posts. It looks a very nice place to kayak - but I wonder how warm is really is?
We are actually getting a bit of snow here this afternoon. And you are right - it can make ordinary things look so different.
Your my kind of Gal with the winter
snows.
I agree with the beauty of rural fences at this time. It has a special atmosphere in winter.
Very nice fences! I really like how the red roof of the barn contrasts with the rest of the scenery.
These are very pretty.
Beautiful fences. I like how the little bird house is attached in the second photo. Lovely scenes :D)
Love the red roof and the idea that a bluebird finds shelter in there!
The first picture is glorious!! And bravo to whoever put out the boxes for the little bluebirds! I would miss my mountains and my church the most.
Great little bird box.

I love that first photo. The fences certainly stand out more against the snow right now. It will be nice to see the bluebirds return but it will be a while yet.
Pretty! Here's hoping you get a picture of a bluebird by that fence later this year.
~
Beautiful snow and the bluebird house on that country fence really brought a smile to my face. I just love that someone would take time to do that!
That is pretty! I love the bluebird house and the snow.
How pretty. That red pop makes that first shot perfect.
Love your country fences.
That is very true, snow makes the simplest things look amazing.
Snow covered country sides cannot be beat. Very well done.
Wonderful winter scenes. Makes me want to sing "Winter Wonderland." And I'd do it, too, but when I try, people scream, "Please stop!" while holding their ears!
Dearest EG; Your captures of winter scene is always magnificent♡♡♡ Lovely country road line and the blue bird house.
We were expecting snow from last night forecast but not(^^;)
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*
Oh, what beautiful scenes! I like the little bluebird house on the fence post. :)
Visiting from Good Fences,
Lindy
The snow certainly enhances the practical fences. With snow, you and your camera, I think the drabbest scene would be lovely.
Great images with that snow. I like the birdhouse at the pole only a bit low for a passing cat.
Your countryside is so beautiful
I love the one with the birdhouse, and yes, they do show up beautifully in the snow.
Your fence shot reminds me of Idaho. The middle part where there are no mountains.
I love both pictures. You're right, they do look great with snow :)
Have a fine day

Ooooh, that first scene is terrific. (But, isn't it tilted?)
