Two Kayaks on Cook's Bay (Lake Simcoe)
K is for KAYAKS.
I'd like to tell you I took these photos last week but you'd know I was lying. So, yes, these are from my archives. It was sunset in August.
Sorry, no ice or snow today. Just memories

Nothing wrong of thinking about warmer weather.
I'm thinking of... dreaming of... longing for warmer weather. A glimpse of it, contained within the beauty of these photos, is immensely heartening!
I was just about to say. . .
Beautiful lighting and a pretty scene.. Lovely sunset photos. Have a happy day!
Some photos only get better with age. Very nice.
Ah, I was a little concerned when I saw they were only wearing t shirts!
Evening shots EG? Looks like the glow of the sun going down on the water, lovely!
The ripples almost look like weaving.

It's a good thing you fessed up. I had already noticed that they were in short sleeves!

Beautiful light indeed and I, too, love the shimmer on the water! Terrific captures whether new or old and as always, I love them!! Hope you have a great day!!
That is something I've never done. Not sure I am up to it now. Yep, thank goodness for the archives. That is what I am working from myself.

Beautiful golden sunset reflections on the water. Very dreamy. :)
Memories are good...specially when they show water looking like liquid gold. Just beautiful!

The water is beautiful! And really, these pictures look timeless, especially the first one. It could be from the 1920's.
Hopefully the warm weather will return soon!
Beautiful images.The water looks Amazing.
Ahh....that looks very relaxing! Nice photos!
Honestly, I've seen enough snow and ice. I'm ready for open dreamy water too!
I'm ready for some kayaking weather - lovely shots!!
all snow gone? I always remember Windsor was coldest at this time. I like kayaking too.
So dreamy- I have got to do this once in my life! Pretty shots.
Great shots and so inviting _
Especially since Cape Ann MA just had a major Blizzard and have too much snow!
Happy Weekend coming to you,

It's a beautiful sight no matter when the photos were taken...but, hey, I thought maybe you were having an Indian summer in January!
Wow....would love to be in a kayak there!
These images are so nice to see and admire now matter what time of year. Love the light on the water.
Beautiful gold color on that water!
Nice day to float around.
They fit so who cares when they are from.
I was just mentioning to Bob that I feel like using old pictures because sometimes I just want you and I don't have a recent one I like for what I want. Whew did you follow all that. LOL

Memories -- especially in the middle of a hard winter -- are wonderful! K is for the kayak we have under our house here in Florida and have not had time yet this season to use! (We bought it last spring just before we left for Oregon.) HOpefully someday soon. It's actually been a little cooler than usual here -- we want our first trial to be on a hot day!
Those pictures really make me want summer. Beautiful.
Dreamy shots♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/kinds-of-black-and-white/
The reflection of the sunshine on the water is beautiful in your 2nd pic!
Archive photos can be good, especially in the middle of the winter. These photos give me a nice warm feeling of summer.
I absolutely love the colors in the water on these. LOVE them.
=)
Simply stunning shots, thanks for stopping by in Normandy.
Looks so peaceful on the water....dreaming of summer!
gorgeous photos!! I so want to learn to kayak. I a bit, ummm, ....fluffy. And I'm afraid I will overturn the kayaks. But, I still think I'll give them a try soon. :)
The light on the water is amazing in both photos!
Beautiful photos, but a Kayak is nothing for me !
Awesome shots of the kayaks! I've never gone kayaking before, but it does look like fun. We just bought a canoe last fall that we're looking forward to trying out on the Iowa River as soon as it's warm enough.
The sheen on the water... Amazing!
Your photos are gorgeous! It's like I can almost hear the paddle going through the water on the second one.
The View from the Top of the Ladder
Such a pretty picture, Ms. TG. I would have liked to do the Kayaks but I think I am too old for that now. :(
