Shadow of open 2nd-storey storm window on shade
Don't you love days when the weather is perfect for opening windows to let in fresh air? But the iside window and shade is closed. Maybe no one is home.

I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.
I remember having the windows open in the winter time here.
Doesn't get terribly cold and is enjoyable.
Your blue windows are pretty, old-style and hence very attractive.
Have a Lovely Day, Tina!
Great shadow shot for the day!! And, YES!! I do love it when I can open and leave open my windows just like I'm doing right now!! You do find and capture such terrific photos and you are SO talented!! Look forward to your posts and pics every day!! Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend!!
There's a lot of levels to this and I love the color blue.
The window frame is such a pretty shade of blue. I am longing for warmer days when windows can be opened and fresh air filters round my home.
I can just imagine those shadows dancing on the curtain when there is a breeze. Nice image.
Not the kind of storm window I often see.
I still have old wooden storm windows like this on the front of the West Hartford house. They provide excellent insulation, though they aren't much for opening. The window opening occurs on the side with the modern triple track storm windows.
One of my favourite shades of blue.
Blue, my favorite color, is an excellent choice for windows!
My Shadow Shot
I like these colors...and I love open windows in summer. We've been happily sleeping with an open sliding door and hate to think we'll have to button up in a couple of months or less.
What a beautiful window . . it reminds me of times I've heard people say, when a door closes, a window opens . . . They always mean a new opportunity is unfolding. i wonder what new, awesome possibility this window is announcing?
Happy Week to You!
There's a lot of levels to this...
Interesting window shots.
Good looking. The colours of the window and the wall are so nice also.
The brick collour compliments the blue of the window. Love the smuge effect.
That is a great window isn't it, so good to have the breeze blowing through. xx
Nice solution for isolation in a time that double glazing still not was born. Thanks for showing.
I love this style of window, you can get air in, but not so many bugs and heat. I really like the blue too!
I told Bob yesterday when the first day comes that i can open the windows and let cool air blow in, i am taking everything out of this computer room and throwing everything not used OUT... i do love cool air coming in windows. this storm window is the prettiest one I have ever seen.
you have many nice windows around. Here I like the colors, the blue against the orange bricks :)
I do love these windows EG, even in the middle of winter I like my window open for fresh air.. Admittedly it doesn't often get that cold :)
Beautiful blue trim against the bricks. It is attractive but devils to put on and take off. . . too heavy for me.
Odd that it is open and the inside one is closed. I do love the color of the frame though. Nice captures!
Yes! I love those red phone booths-a thing of the past. What an excellent place for a model and a photo shoot (although I don't do that kind of a thing, I have friends that do).
I've heard of those windows before but never seen a real one. You did a great job with your smudge stick and camera.
I love that it is blue! We used to have storm windows that hung from the top like that.
They're quite old fashioned!
