Clearing the Rink 2011

 The rink 5 years ago, Lake Simcoe

I have been going through some old photos and discovered this photo taken in mid January 2011. Look at that snow and ICE! Right now Lake Simcoe has some ice now but there is no way I would stand on it!

Great family cooperation!  January 2011 was definitely a different from this year...at least so far.

Another way to clear the ice

The ice was even thick enough to clear by machine.

Freezing Rain/Our World

Birdhouse trimmed with icicles

Last Friday we woke up to a world coated with ice. Yep, it's April here just like where you live but it seems someone has forgotten to tell the weather people at Environment Canada. Enough already!

I honestly don't mind winter but it is time for spring!

I have to admit the ice was pretty. Dangerous, but pretty.

And the ice lasted only a few hours.
