Going Squirrelly/ Nature Notes

Cold and snowy

Hungry squirrels are hanging out under our bird feeders, tidying up after messy goldfinches, house finches and chickadees.

Our squirrels appetites are as voracious as the birds, but the birds are more than welcome at our house. The squirrels...nah!

The tone and colour of your collage contributes to its attractiveness.

We can just feel the energy and quickness of the squirrels.

You really do a fine job with your mosaic posts.

Oh so wintry up in them thar parts! Poor squirrels. I'm glad you keep the bird feeders full which allows the squirrels some sustenance also!

Nice cold shots!

It's nice to know that Canadian squirrels are as industrious as the squirrels on this side of the border. You captured a wonderful picture of the squirrel.

I see fences as tying together those photos... some have natural "fences." The squirrel will bust through all the fences, especially in the winter.

You know it's cold when the grays don't come out for a couple of days. We've had some really cold weather, but not as much snow as some areas. The squirrels always look so put out in wet or snowy weather...lol... Michelle

Squirrels really are cute little guys. If only they'd grab a handful of seeds and shove off they'd be welcome visitors.

Beautiful photos of winter.
