Leaving a boat launch on Lake Scugog
This was taken a few weeks ago when the weather was much warmer! Boats are still in the water here but boaters are wearing more clothes.

my old eyes saw boring watery wed in the thumbnail, i was happy to see boating when it opened since I thought she never takes boring shots.
It's chilly here this morning and bound to be colder as the days go by. I like seeing summer fun.
It is a very sleek watercraft and must be lots of fun. Great reflections, too. Why aren't the adults wearing lifejackets, but at least the child is! Right now a canoe or kayak seems more my speed.
This would also make a good reflection shot. Nice way to end the summer.

Hey, this reminds me...I did get on google earth after another post you did about this lake, anyway I did look up this place and the surroundings...beautiful country up that way.
that's a sleek boat...i wish we have more of these around here instead of our old-fashioned outriggers.:p

A great image filled with holiday exhileration! And love the reflected colours and shapes in the water!
The first thing I noticed is that these are normal houses and not cottages with a lakefront property. Then I realized the lack of life jackets. Something the whole world is now seeing!
Great reflections. The water looks fine for swimming or water skiing.
Looks like so much fun--everyone here is getting ready to put their boats up for the winter. Summer is officially over - too bad. Mickie :)
