East Gwillimbury Farm

A rather typical East Gwillimbury farm in early November

Note the old Ontario farmhouse and the green barns. I never noticed until I started blogging that there are many GREEN barns in my area. Still, I'm surprised when readers tell me how unusual they are where they live.

I am joining the Barn Collective HERE

That’s a pretty old farmhouse, and of course, I am seeing the green barns only in your blog. Beautiful capture!

Not to mention the blue silo EG! The colours work so well together, this is a very well maintained farm.

That's an iconic farm shot! I am one of those who find green barns unusual ... but I like them!

Love the expanse of the field and landscape. Green barns, very nice, but have only seen red or unpainted ones in the states?

A very pretty scene!

I do love this scene...love the way the lane leads back to the farm. I can think of one green barn that is fairly close to us...and it is at least 45 minutes away.

I'm used to green barns. There was one across the road from us where I grew up.

I'm pretty sure I have never seen a green barn before. I like it!

No green barns here. More natural wood and black barns. Love that old house.

wooden barns are of most interesting here.

Yep, I only recall having seen one green barn here in Texas. But what I love about this photo is the blue of the silo and the roof on the house!

Now you've got me wondering about barn colors. I've seen some red ones; many are wooden. Now I'll have to start taking notice. And I know I've never seen a blue silo!
This photo almost looks like primitive style artwork.

Most traditional barns in the UK are red. Lovel country shot

We have red ones! I like the green, though!
