Raspberry Leaves/ Today's Flowers

Frost on red leaves on raspberry (Rubus) plant

In mid Autumn, the leaves on raspberry plants turn bright red. Here the morning frost looks a lot like sugar or salt.

Brrrrrr... Feels very cold! And I also saw your beautiful picture of the first snow over there! Well, I guess I even prefer snow than cold rain at + 3 Celsius...
God bless you!

So very lovely! Haven't seen frost for a long time, but a couple of times here in Colorado I've been out scraping the car windshield!

That's a beautiful shot of the raspberry leaves with frost. We had our first hard freeze last night but I couldn't make myself get dressed to go outside to shoot the frost before the sun warmed it. Oh well, hopefully next time I won't be so lazy.

Lovely, frosted, red leaves! I'm ignoring yesterday's snow posting - I'm just not ready for winter yet! Ha!

The frost looks like sugar. Love the deep and burnt red color.

I'm never up early enough to take pix of the frost before it melts at this time of year! Love the red leaves.
