Rusty Machinery/ Macro Monday

Close up of old rusty farm machinery

Old farm machinery is a common site along country roads in East Gwillimbury. This was found next to the driveway into an old but still active farm.

You find this kind of thing everywhere in rural areas of the U.S., too. I've often wondered why people let machinery go to rot out in the elements? Some of it must retain some usefulness.

Your picture really brings home the notion of waste - at least to me...

Hi EG Wow, that is a unique photo subject and the color is lovely. It doesnt look like rust at all in the photo. BTW, thanks for visiting my site.

How come your rusty pictures look better than my rusty pictures? I must try harder. MB

This is so cool. I wonder how long the machinery has been sitting there...

I see a lot of old forgotten rusty farm equipment around my neck of the woods. After a while, it becomes part of the landscape. Great shot.
