Sunset Over Park II/ Sky Watch

Lions Park, East Gwillimbury

This week the skies have NOT been worth photographing! THIS photo was taken 9 days ago either a little before or a little after the one I posted last week (see HERE).  I also pointed the lens in a different direction.

Love your photos of the skies, and the kayaks!
Our skies (and ground) are mimicking each other! This all gray with snow everyday. But a week ago the colors of sunrise were amazing. See my Skywatch last Friday: http://helenmac-fabiusdaybyday.blogspot.com/2010/12/skywatch-friday.html

Beautiful sky shot!

Kinda yucky up there, huh?

It's too darn cold down here! But I like these mottled clouds...and the color certainly brightens things up.

Re your comment on Stone Creek: I think the reason those cattle turned their backs on me is that they had seen my photography and were not impressed.

I didn't think that was very nice of them!

great shot and yes you're right nothing much to talk about the skies this week.

I love those pink and blue sunsets! We had one here yesterday but I wasn't in a position to capture it. So I'll just look at yours instead!

There is a hint of blue in my sky, perhaps by sunset it will clear enough that I can restock my archive of sky shots.

A very pretty, gentle sunset with a kiss of pink!

I'm perfectly happy to look at your nine-day-old sky, EG. If we didn't have days of so-so skies (and we've had plenty of these here too lately), the brilliant ones would no longer have meaning.

Fantastic SWF image!

WOW you are getting lots of comments of your lovely pictures!
I am finally back blogging, but probably not for long as my monitor broke so I have borrowed on for a couple of weeks, but will have to return it soon.... so will be shopping for a new one in a couple of days.
meanwhile I have been busy packing, moving and unpacking, and also busy with rehearsals for our Christmas variety show.... no time to do any Christmas baking!
