Winter into Spring/Top Shot

Humber Bay Park East, Toronto

It was late afternoon and somewhat overcast when I took this photo. And so far there's no green.

I am linking to Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

We are farther south - and have green - BUT it's cold and everyone is rushing to buy bread and milk because we're told to expect deep snow this weekend . . Spring is gonna feel like a Huge Blessing . . soon . . . very soon.

I like your photo - a lot.

It's still a very colorful photo in a tan, brown sort of way. Nice reflections, too! Brrr.

There's very little green here but I spied some forsythias today! The colours in this shot are marvellous, I agree with Grace, it does look a bit like autumn but it's gorgeous nonetheless.

I like the colours here and notice the willow's yellow branches and the dogwood's red sticks are really showing up well. Beautiful shot.!

I think we all are praying for some green in our lives. But as someone said, looks like the ice is melting away, the first step!!

Winter is really hanging on this spring!

Very pretty shot - but I think it is time for Winter to unclench its choke-hold and let Spring have a shot at it before Summer stakes her claim.

I love the tones in this shot. Overcast days make for some beautiful photography, as is evidenced here.
