Z/Alphabe-Thursday

 Cedar waxwing

Z is for ZENITH,  ZOUNDS!,  ZOOMED,  ZILLIONS, ZEALOUS

If A is at the bottom of an alphabet tower, then Z is at the tower's zenith.  ZOUNDS! After 26 weeks we have reached the alphabet's peak, apex, summit, climax, summit and - yes - zenith.

My camera lens has ZOOMED in on ZILLIONS of  ZEALOUS celebrants including  a cedar waxwing atop the zenith of a twig.

 Yellow warbler

yellow warbler at the zenith of a cedar shrub,

Great blue heron at ZENITH of branch

and great blue heron near the zenith of a branch on a dead tree.

Zoiks! All of your captures are beautiful but I must admit to a special fondness for herons.

And you really zapped those zingy z's!

Zounds! I have always wanted to use that word and now i have... the little golden guy looks like he might be shouting Zounds at the sights he sees from up there. and the first bird has a mask like batman.

Good morning!
I admire your great pictures.
You showed once again the beautiful birds ...
In Poland, I have not seen such varieties.
I send greetings.

Hi Eg and thanks for visiting my blog during my absence in Menorca. I didn’t have full computer access on holiday so wasn’t able to visit Blogger pals at the time but I’m now in the process of catching up with everyone. Those shots are sure well ZOOMED, especially the lovely Waxwing.

Zikes! that's a fun task to do and I like how you thought up words for Z. Great bird shots. The yellow warbler is so bright. Does she start all over again with the letter A next week? I've thought about joining this meme before but didn't know how it worked. Pam

I like the first one. He's a bit chubby.

You had to stretch to turn these photos into Z, didn't you? The blue heron's body almost turns itself into a Z. Are they zees or zeds up there?
