Burlington Bay Skyway

Reflections of Skyway on a sunny day #1

Even though this has been a cold winter (compared to the past few, that is), the canal between Lake Ontario and Burlington Bay rarely (if ever) freezes over completely. This bridge connects Hamilton and Burlington.

So serene, you've captured both the cold clarity and the structural beauty so perfectly. =)

Pretty reflections. A lot of work so that people on one side could get to the other!

A beautiful, solid-looking bridge. You were out on a nice day for taking pictures. The lack of wind would make cooler weather more bearable. The reflections are excellent. This reminds me of some of our bridges from the mainland across the Intracoastal Waterway.

It looks very strong and sturdy. Is this a highway bridge or a railroad bridge?

This bridge looks like an old one, with a lot of charm. Of course, photographing it in warm sunshine helps a lot.
